Located in a Natural Reserve of the primary forest with a great history (Stone's farm) it was where the first hydroelectric plant was installed in the area, which gave electrical power to the Quakers and the few neighbors of the area in 1965 and worked until 1999 benefiting a large part of Monteverde residents. The farm has been in conservation since the 80's. This farms connects with other farms that have been in conservation for many years and are part of the same peaceful trail that connects the upper part of the cloud forest with the lower part.
This tour can be done by people of all ages due to the flat topography of the farm, ideal for observing many nocturnal animals such as sloths, hammers, armadillos and many other insect species.
